Jackson, Tenn. – The 2021 Jackson-Madison County Christmas Parade will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021, in Downtown Jackson and will broadcast live on EPlusTV channels 6 and 206HD.
The parade will begin at 6:45 p.m. and will celebrate the joint bicentennial with the theme “Christmas: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.” The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held prior to the start of the parade at 5:15 p.m. in front of Jackson City Hall.
We are encouraging residents to stop by to decorate the Christmas tree with their special memories of "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" starting December 7.
“We are thrilled to bring back an annual tradition this year for families to come out and enjoy,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “We look forward to a safe holiday season as we celebrate during our city and county’s bicentennial year.”
Our grand marshals for this year’s parade will be the Bicentennial Commission Board, including Elaine Christian, Judy Renshaw, Glenn Vaulx, Ken Newman, Leigh Anne Bentley, Loni Harris, Marda Wallace, Randy Wallace, Ted Austin, Trey Cleek. Whitney Norwood, Anita Archer, Dennis Henderson, and Gayle Tacker-Gilbert.
