Notice is hereby given that a Budget Ordinance amendment will be introduced before the City Council of the City of Jackson on October 6, 2020 at the City Council meeting. The purpose of which is to amend the FY 21 Budget Ordinance to reflect $5,000,000 in lease purchase agreement proceeds to acquire fire apparatus for the Jackson Fire Department.
The proposed lease purchase agreement to acquire the fire apparatus will be for 10 years with PNC Equipment Finance, LLC. A Public Hearing will be held at the meeting of the Jackson City Council on October 6, 2020 at 9:00 am, in the George A. Smith Room at Jackson City Hall. A second Public Hearing on the proposed Ordinance and lease purchase agreement will be held at the meeting of the Jackson City Council on November 3, 2020, at 9:00 am, in the George A. Smith Room at Jackson City Hall. The proposed Ordinance is on file in the City Recorders Office, Suite 203 at Jackson City Hall, and may be examined during normal business hours.
