JACKSON, Tenn. – The City of Jackson, TN will host its first “City Hall Pop-Up” at Shirlene Mercer Walking Trail Park, Monday, August 29, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
"We are hoping this will become a regular event where residents can stop by a location that may be closer to them than City Hall,” said City of Jackson Community Development Coordinator Claire Pierson. “At these events, citizens may have their questions answered, learn about Ready311, share their ideas and concerns with City Officials, and learn about City projects as well as other initiatives in Jackson."
This pilot event will be a come-and-go event and will include representatives from city departments. Citizens will be able to file complaints directly to the 311 App, participate in a civic engagement survey and more.
“We recognize and understand that some citizens may not have adequate access to city hall during regular business hours, so we want to bring city hall to out into the public,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “I look forward holding this event for the public.”
The event is open to the public.
