Service Innovation
The Service Innovation Director (SID) is responsible for working with City Departments on behalf of the Mayor to identify develop, test, and implement continuous improvements throughout the City by fostering a culture of data use and innovation. Additionally, the SID leads and coordinates City Department efforts to identify and secure grant opportunities to fund these improvements and other capital improvements as well as coordinates across Departments to ensure grant compliance, timely reporting, and proper use of funds and plays a critical role in maximizing external funding sources to enhance innovative city services, infrastructure, and community programs.
