JACKSON, Tenn. – The City of Jackson’s Recreation and Parks Department will host a clean-up event at Muse Park, on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
“We recognize the importance of making sure all of our parks are maintained and beautiful for any visitor who chooses to spend time there,” said JRPD Director Tony Black. “We are grateful and thankful to the volunteers who want to assist this clean-up effort.”
A majority of the clean-up will take place in the front area of the south side of the park. Areas to volunteer include painting, planting, limb removal/sidewalk clean-up, and litter pick-up. JRPD is requesting that those who choose to volunteer arrive at 8:00 am. Assignments will be distributed at that time.
Volunteer sign-up can be found by visiting the Recreation and Parks page. Safety and Volunteer Waivers will be supplied on clean-up day at Muse Park.
