Kimberly A. Jones was recognized as Jackson Area Business and Professional Women 2020 Woman of Achievement. The proclamation reads as follows.
WHEREAS, Jackson Area Business and Professional Women has advocated and, continue to advocate, for successful workplaces and equity for women for 101 years having been founded in 1919;
WHEREAS, Jackson Area Business and Professional Women annually chooses a Woman of Achievement who embodies the BPW Motto, “Women Helping Women;”
WHEREAS, the 2020 BPW Woman of Achievement has served the community and its women, as a role-model and leader, as an experienced leader, mentor, and businesswoman;
WHEREAS, the 2020 BPW Woman of Achievement serves her community as Executive Director/System Controller for West Tennessee Healthcare. In this capacity, she a part of the Executive Finance Leadership team supporting the System Chief Financial Officer in the Finance Division’s commitment to the mission and vision of West Tennessee Healthcare;
WHEREAS, the 2020 BPW Woman of Achievement has played an active role in many community organizations as a leader in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, the Alzheimer’s Association, Boys & Girls Club of Jackson, Carl Perkins Telethon Volunteer, Supporter of St. Jude Heroes, and the American Cancer
Society;
WHEREAS, the 2020 BPW Woman of Achievement understands the importance of women helping women, and does her best to serve as a role-model and mentor to women in all walks of life;
WHEREAS, the 2020 BPW Woman of Achievement is Kimberly A. Jones;
