Jackson, Tenn. – The 2023 Jackson Christmas Parade will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, in Downtown Jackson and will broadcast live on EPlusTV channels 6 and 206HD and online at eplustv6.com.
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the theme “A Season of Giving.” The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held prior to the start of the parade at 5:15 p.m. in front of Jackson City Hall located at 101 E. Main St.
In accordance with this year’s “A Season of Giving” theme, we are encouraging the community to drop off canned food and non-perishable items at City Hall, Westwood Community Center (3 Westwood Gardens Drive), T. R. White Sportsplex (304 N. Hays Ave.).
“We are thrilled to host the 2023 Christmas Parade in downtown Jackson again this year,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “I hope that our ‘Season of Giving’ theme inspires us with the spirit of generosity this holiday season.”
Our grand marshal for this year’s parade will be United Way President Matthew Marshall. He was formerly Executive Director and Head of School at Hands Up! Preschool, a non-profit Early Childhood Education program in Jackson, TN. Before that, he spent eight years in Higher Education at his alma mater, Union University.
"It is a profound honor to serve as this year's Christmas Parade Grand Marshal,” said Marshall. “My family is so grateful to have called Jackson, “home,” for more than five generations, and I pray the festive spirit of the parade reflects the warmth, unity, and radiant hope that our beloved community shares."
