Notice of Public Meeting - State Route 186 (U.S. 45 Bypass) Ext.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will host a public meeting on March 3, 2022, to gather public input on the State Route 186 (U.S. 45 Bypass) ext., from SR-1 (Airways Boulevard) to State Route-5 (South Highland Avenue) in Jackson (IA) - Including Relocation of State Route 18 in Madison County. The meeting will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the following location:
South Jackson Community Center
412 Highway 18 (Bolivar Hwy)
Jackson, TN 38301
(NOTE: The Community Center encourages that all attendees wear masks.)
The meeting is being held to provide the public with an opportunity to provide comments regarding this project. The meeting format will be “come and go,” and no formal presentation will be given. Representatives of TDOT and the City of Jackson will be available to provide information on various aspects of this proposed project. Anyone with questions regarding the meeting should contact:
