JACKSON, Tenn. – The City of Jackson's Recreation and Parks Department along with the Bemis Historical Society held a grand-reopening of Stella Duncan Park highlighting the new playground funded by Amerigroup on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
The Recreation and Parks Department received a generous donation from Amerigroup of over $150,000 to purchase new playground equipment. Stella Duncan received a new playground, while Conger and Muse both received playground upgrades.
“We’re thankful to Amerigroup for their donation to purchase the new playground at Stella Duncan Park in Bemis,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “I truly believe that the children who use the playground will enjoy it for years to come.”
